Meet the girl replacing Anushka Sharma in Tamil
Sep 15, 2013Vaani Kapoor played the second female lead in the just released Bollywood film, Shuddh Desi Romance, and her understated yet confident portrayal has won over the audience. Her height, smile and charm are added bonuses and the future holds a lot of promise for this young lass.
She has been signed on for the Tamil remake of the hit Bollywood flick, Band Baaja Baaraat, opposite Nani. Vaani isn't familiar with the Tamil language but is managing well thanks to her director Gokul Krishna, a former assistant of Vishnuvardhan. Vaani would be playing the hyper-energetic role made memorable by Anushka Sharma in the original.
