Vadivelu and Meenakshi Dixit pair up for the upcoming period comedy, Jegajala Bujabala Tenaliraman. Directed by Yuvaraj, the film is being funded by AGS Entertainments. The film went on floors very recently, but, the reports coming our way suggest that the team has already canned 40%.

Vadivelu, in his recent interview has said that this film will be nothing like his previous films. To prove his point, he recollected an interesting incident. The film’s heroine, Meenakshi Dixit obviously knows Vadivelu very well but, when the popular comedian stood beside her all dressed up in the King’s costume, she thought he was someone else and not Vadivelu. It is said that she even believed him when he sarcastically claimed that he plays her father.Later the director stepped in and informed her that it was indeed Vadivelu, the hero of the film. Though she found it extremely hard to believe, she had to consume the fact, however hard it was.

So, the ace comedian’s point is that people will not be seeing Vadivelu on screen, but the two pivotal characters, Tenaliraman and Krishnadevarayan.
