There were reports suggesting earlier that Santhanam’s busy call sheet hasn’t allowed him to take up Sasikumar's Bramman. But our source close to the team has classified all such reports as rumours. They inform us that Santhanam is indeed in the project and that he shot for the film even yesterday.

The shoot for the film is currently happening at Coimbatore and a part of the film will also be shot in Chennai. Santhanam has a full length role in Bramman and so does Parotta Soori, who was also wrongly reported to have replaced Santhanam in the film. They both play the friends of Sasikumar, it seems.
 

Meanwhile, director Socrates has completed 25% of the film. He is also planning to can a couple of song sequences abroad.
