2012’s dark-horse winner at the box-office, Pizza, certainly had an open-ended climax and speculations were ripe with possible sequels. The makers of Pizza, Thirukumaran Entertainment, have apparently made the move to bring out Pizza-2.

Sources say that the production house has finalized the script but they also indicate that it will not be a sequel, but a stand-alone thriller film. Director of Pizza, Karthik Subbaraj, has denied his involvement in the project leading us to believe that it will be a new director who will be executing the film.

The film apparently has a working title called ‘The Villa’ and going by the idea, the producers are looking to make it into a franchise much like Hollywood’s Final Destination series.
