23. PIZZA
Arguably, the biggest surprise of the year, Pizza featured an unconventional soundtrack by Santhosh Narayanan which gained popularity post the runaway success of the movie. The ‘Smitha Bungalow’ ringtone (Ninaikkudhe) became a raging hit while the racy and rocking Engo Odugindrai was a fitting track considering the movie’s finale. Pre-release, Pizza’s theme music also made the right noises thanks to its eerie and edgy tune.
