What was already an exciting battle line up for this year’s Diwali just got a lot more interesting. The big gun films like Arrambam, Irandaam Ulagam and All in All Azhagu Raja will be challenged by the latest dark horse entrant, Vishal’s Pandiyanaadu.

Produced under his own banner, Vishal Film Factory, the actor seems to be extremely confident with the product he has in his hands as he’s set to clash at the box office with Ajith, Karthi and Arya. The key boost to this project will undoubtedly be its director Suseenthiran who staged a superb comeback with Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer.

Pandiyanaadu’s cameraman Madhi spoke to Behindwoods earlier today and confirmed the release news saying “All the effort is being put in to ensure that the film comes out for Diwali. The film is come out very well.”

Pandiyanaadu has Lakshmi Menon playing the heroine and features Vikranth and Parotta Soori in supporting roles. Music is by D. Imman.
