Lyricist Na. Muthukumar's amazing century

Lyricist Na. Muthukumar has completed an enviable milestone in 2012 by penning the lyrics for 103 songs from a total of 34 movies. Even legendary poets like Kannadasan, Vairamuthu and Vaali haven't written this many songs in a single year.

 

Muthukumar has in fact written all the songs in certain films like Billa 2, Vettai, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Neethane En Ponvasantham, Thaandavam to name a few. The number of hit songs that he has penned in 2012 is also close to 40.  

 

In the coming year, the ace lyricist will continue to be prolific as he has committed to 83 new films. We wish him the very best and more records in the coming years.
