When Jiiva was sure that he will be working with Gautham Menon, the director suggested that they work on a ‘local’ film which was a genre that Jiiva was familiar with, thanks to his successful movies like Siva Manasula Sakthi and E.
But Jiiva requested the director that they should work instead in a stylish and modern subject, which the director is more suited to.
Gautham then came up with the idea for Neethane En Ponvasantham (NEPV) and they proceeded to work on it. NEPV released on Friday and the movie is currently a hot topic of discussion among film buffs.
