Cheran’s new movie JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai was unveiled before the press recently. Cheran is back to direction after his previous attempts, Mayakannadi and Pokkisham,

Cheran said that he experienced heavy financial losses due to these movies and hence decided to take a break from direction and instead act in quite a lot of movies over the past few years.

He then contacted Sharvanand and Nithya Menon recently and narrated the story of JK and both seemed to like the script a lot. Sharvanand asked for just one clarification during the narration and otherwise he was totally gripped by the narration.

Interestingly Nithya Menon, who is known to be choosy with her script selections, had heard that Cheran was an arrogant man but she found that he was very gentle during the filming of JK. Cheran on the other hand had heard that Sharvanand was arrogant from some of his sources, but he found that the actor was very gentle too. Talk of misconceptions.
