Venkat Prabhu and his Biriyani team were recently spotted shooting in the office of a private TV channel. The film’s heroine, Hansika’s scene was being canned. Spotted in a black top and white skirt, Hansika looked like a reporter. However, nothing about her character has been confirmed by the team yet.

Karthi, Premgi, Ramki, Nithin Sathya, Mandy Thakar, Madhumitha and Sam Anderson form the ensemble. This is also, as reported on numerous occasions, the 100^th film of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Biriyani also has Venkat Prabhu’s regulars, cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan and editor duo Praveen-Srikanth.
