For the Hindi remake of Thuppakki a lot of names like Parineeti Chopra, Kajal Aggarwal have been doing the rounds till now, for the female lead’s role. Now looks like there is yet another addition to the list as Sonakshi Sinha is being tipped to play the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar.

Sonakshi has already paired opposite Akshay in films like Rowdy Rathore and Joker. It must be noted that Kajal played the role in the Tamil version which had Vijay in the lead.

With this Hindi remake, AR Murugadoss makes his return to Bollywood post the blockbuster Ghajini in 2008.
