Behindwoods had earlier reported that Telugu director Krish, famous for Vedam which was remade as Vaanam in Tamil, would be bringing Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu to the Tamil industry in a bilingual project that would be produced by famed producer Ashwini Dutt.
The team was on the hunt for a suitable heroine and the search has ended at the doorstep of the Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi was earlier linked with Kamal’s Vishwaroopam too but the participation didn’t take fruition. But now the daughter of actor-politician Shatrugan Sinha will be making her debut in the South with this project.
