Director Suseenthiran believes that every film of his must be different from each other. Talking to a leading daily, he said that Adhalal Kadhal Seiveer (AKS) is one such different effort. With this film, he has reportedly dealt with an issue that is entirely new to cinema.

He has roped in a bunch of newbies for this film. According to him the movie is an emotional drama about a bunch of youngsters, who are fun loving, slightly arrogant and a bit selfish too.

The film has Santhosh and Manisha Yadav (Vazhakku Enn 18/9 fame) in the lead. Jaya Prakash, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Arjun, Thulasi and Ramnath Shetty will feature in supporting characters. Yuvan Shankar Raja takes credit for the music and Nallu studios has funded the project. Distributed by Red Giant Movies, the film is coming out on 15^th Audgust, the Independence Day.
