Will Anirudh say Yes to Venkat Prabhu's remake?
Sep 16, 2013Talk about the Hindi remake of Chennai 600028 has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. We hear that the producer of the acclaimed movie 'Lunchbox', Vivek Rangachari is now co-producing this remake along with director Bejoy Nambiar. The film will comprise a new cast much like the original.
Bejoy's assistant Yazad will be directing the film. South sensation Anirudh had been approached to do the music for the film but he is currently really busy with his other commitments and hasn't yet given a final word to the makers on his availability for this project.
This film has tentatively been titled Kirkit in keeping with the 'gully cricket' theme of the film. Will the remake match the success of Venkat Prabhu's original?
