There have been some reports about Thalaivaa’s release date being August 9^th. But, when Behindwoods contacted our inside sources, we were informed that the film would come out on August 2^nd, if everything goes as per plan.

The music, which came a day before Vijay’s birthday, has been in the top of the charts since and the trailers have garnered millions of visits. The film’s cooking high expectations and show all signs of a huge opening.

Theater owners have supposedly been queuing up already, expressing their interest in showcasing the film. The producer of the film, Chandraprakash Jain has also sold the satellite rights of the film to Sun TV for an undisclosed, but massive sum. Vendhar Movies will be releasing the film all over Tamil Nadu.
