Birthday wishes to the Pokiri
Aug 09, 2013 The Telugu mass hero Mahesh Babu, who acted in smashing hits like Pokiri and Sainikudu, is celebrating his 38th birthday today. The actor made appearances as a child actor in movies like Needa, Poratam and Baazaar Rowdy, before establishing himself as a lead actor in the movie Raja Kumarudu.
His movie Pokiri, which was a blockbuster in Telugu, was remade in Tamil as Pokkiri with Vijay playing the lead role. The movie fared well in the Tamil box office too. The actor is now acting in the movie titled ‘1’ and is also making a cameo appearance in the movie ‘Rudhramadevi’, a 3D historic film that will feature Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. The movie is apparently being filmed in both Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
