For fans of the popular TV soaps such as Mahaan and Pirivom Sandhippom on Star Vijay, Dinesh would be no stranger as he plays one of the leads in both the aforementioned shows. The channel, Star Vijay, itself has in a way become a breeding ground for future stars of Tamil cinema with its track record consisting of names such as Santhanam, Siva Karthikeyan, Mirchi Senthil and Jeeva to name a few.
 

Dinesh stands out from this list as he makes his cine debut as a villain in Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah which stars Jai and Nazriya Nazim. The actor apparently chose the role because he knew his character was pivotal to the script. There is also belief that Dinesh’s entry would bring a sea of change in the way villains are looked at, as he is quite dashing in appearance.
 

The film is directed by Anees and the unit is currently shooting in Hyderabad.
