Veteran actress Ambika Nair had turned to direction with the assistance of her brother Suresh Nair. While Ambika needs no introduction, Suresh Nair has been successfully involved with industry with his organization that undertakes Line Production duties.

The duo’s maiden film will feature a unique filming model as it is set on a POV (point of view) model. This will mean that there will be no cinematographer as such and the actors themselves will be handling the cameras. This is said to bring out an immersive feel to the audience giving them the impression that they’re actually in the film.

The film will feature relatively new faces in Indu Thampy and Major Kishore playing the leads. The actors have reportedly undergone vigorous training in handling the equipment without affecting their own performances. The film is supposedly a concoction of Love, Comedy, Suspense and a Thriller and will be called Nizhal in Tamil and Anabella in Malayalam. The film is being produced by Mallikarjunan of Rio International.
