Directors Council and the SRM Medical College management entered into two significant agreements in the presence of dignitaries. A press release stated that the agreements are aimed at extending mutual cooperation between the Council and the SRM management. SRM's Parivendhar and Council  director Vikraman and other significant dignitaries namely RK Selvamani, V Sekhar, P Vasu and  KS Ravikumar signed the pact.

According to the terms of the agreements,  members of the council and their close family members will get  medical treatment free of cost from the SRM hospital in Kattankulathur and in Tiruchy. The SRM management will provide 5 high end cameras for the council members for short film making. The college management also has extended help in post production works in the college facility. 

As a friendly gesture, every year 10 deserving students from the council members' family will be provided free seat allocation in engineering and other courses in SRM colleges, based on the recommendation by the council. As a return gesture, directors will conduct classes for the film studies department of SRM institutions. 

The event was also attended by the dignitaries from the SRM management and Velmurugan, TP Gajendran, Ramesh Kannan, Raja Karthik, Ravi Mariya, R Kannan, Nambirajan, Shanmugasundaram and noted directors and assistant directors.
