Vikraman replaces Bharathiraja
Jun 10, 2013 Director Vikraman has come out on top in a closely contested election for the position of the President of the Tamil Nadu Thiraipada Iyakkunar Sangam (TANTIS). The position was earlier held by Bharathiraja who quit from office due to some supposed turmoil within the association.
In the held election, Vikraman was up against Visu who was also considered as an able man for the job. Ultimately with 717 votes, compared to Visu’s 562, Vikraman was crowned the new President of TANTIS. The timing couldn’t have been better for Vikraman as he’s staging a comeback into films now with his latest offering titled Ninaithadu Yaaro.
