Vijay's Thalaivaa to be a festival delight?
Jun 09, 2013 The release of Thalaivaa, which was initially slated for Vijay's birthday on June 22 and then was pushed to July, might now happen only in the early part of August, according to the latest buzz.
With Eid falling in early August, Thalaivaa might release around this time to cash in on the festive period and the Independence Day holiday on August 15th. August 9th looks like an ideal date for this Vijay - Vijay project, which would be released by Vendhar Movies. The audio of the film is confirmed to come out on June 21.
Meanwhile, in Jilla, Vijay's character name would be Shakti with Mohanlal being called Shiva. It is not clear yet if they would be playing brothers or a father-son duo in this Nesan directed flick.
