MOHENJO DARO SONGS REVIEW

Mohenjo Daro is an upcoming historic film starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and music is composed by A.R.Rahman.

The album begins on a grand scale with an uplifting track high on percussions and primordial instruments.  The usage of flute and tribal styled rhythm is another asset for the track. The singers make it a perfect listen oozing out confidence and style. Watch out for the folk styled violin solo.

Sindhu Ma
Singers: Sanah Moidutty

The softer breeze sets with a lovely composition having soothing chord progression and the grace of a flowing river.  The mellowed flute, string sections and relaxed rhythm set the stage for a breathtaking musical journey laden with history. A.R.Rahman’s vocals are another biggest asset for this track. The entire track breathes with pristine flavors all over.

Sarsariya
Singers: Shashwat Singh, Shashaa Tirupati

Now it is time for some funkiness with raw orchestration which is toned down with heavy laden rhythm. The rustic flute tantalizes the senses and the track is balanced ably with bamboo styled percussions. The overall song gives an impression of an untouched colony rich with civilization and amazing perfection. Brace yourselves for a tribal treat!

Tu Hai
Singers: A.R.Rahman, Sanah Moidutty

A melodious number from the master composer A.R.Rahman himself arrives in a jiffy. The overall effect of a flowing river is retained in this number as well with a laid back pace, breeziness and inexplicably sweet melodious rendition. The interludes have a contrasting element to it but they effortlessly blend.

Take a trip down to the dangers and adventures which Mohenjo Daro offers with the master craft music of A.R.Rahman in this track! The riveting chants, sultry silence and pitch darkness it creates will sure challenge one’s senses!

The instrumental marathon continues with another contrasting track equipped with soft chants instead. However, the overall orchestration remains the same. Usage of the flute and ancient sounds has been put to perfection by ARR once again!
