Acham Illai. She also trained in Hindustani
and Carnatic music styles. She has performed
all over the world. She has won the
President
of India Gold medal for Carnatic and Light Classical
music even while still in school. Her pliant
voice is suitable for evoking the right emotion.
Though, she was introduced by A.R.Rehman , it
was Deva who experimented with her voice in
songs such as Karuptuthan, Nilavye Konduva in
Vaali. The songs which took her to peak are
O Podu and Apadi Podu.
