Fine example is director Karthik Subburaj’s debut project bankrolled by C V Kumar. Karthik demonstrated a clear understanding of the medium in this tautly made thriller and kept his red herrings coming at regular intervals that made it almost impossible for the audience to guess and predict what was happening on screen.
