Suriya played his first father-son role at the young age of 33 and he came out with such a superb portrayal in both the roles. Right from being a love-struck teenager to a dashing young romantic to a doomed drug addict to a dying old cancer patient, Suriya traversed the entire range that a hero can do. Those sculpted six –pack abs, seen in the subsequent Ayan, Ratha Charitharam and 7am Arivu too, sent the women jumping in delight. Suriya thus became Tamil Nadu’s first six-pack superhero.
