Actual Ending

The film ended with Divya (played by Sonia Agarwal) holding Vinodh (played by Dhanush) on one hand and Aadhi (played by Sudeep Sarangi) on the other hand in a cliff top, where the two would be clinging on to her hands as they would fall off anytime. After a long emotional melodrama Vinodh lets himself off her hands, falls down and dies. The film closes with Selvaraghavan's title card.

Alternate Ending

Now assume a scene after Vinodh dies. Few days pass by and Divya is still in the trance of her best friend’s death. She realises that she is pregnant with Vinodh's child. The takeaway of the film is how madly Vinodh is in love with Divya. This ending can prove that somewhere, that madness made her fall for him secretly which also justifies the intimate time the two spent together just before the climax.
