With production having started in 2000, the film might have struggled to see the light of the day but its saving grace was the music by Rahman. The title track ‘Udhaya Udhaya’ is one of ARR’s underrated gems and the peppier ‘Thiruvellikeni Rani’ offered Vijay to show off his nimble-feet. The two would later join hands again for ATM dishing out a blockbuster commercial soundtrack.
