Vijay’s philanthropic trip to Trichy to conduct the weddings of 15 couples resulted as a grand success. The entire event was well organized by the fan club members of the Trichy district and measures were put in place to ensure good crowd management.

Vijay arrived at the venue in Rockfort to a rousing reception from the fans that had gathered. He then made his way to the hall where the mass weddings were taking place. He personally handed garlands and the mangalsutra to each couple before offering his blessings. Following which he distributed 51 gifts that comprised of home needs to the couples.

Vijay also took time to answer questions posted by the audience and while responding to one of the queries he made it very clear that his philanthropic gestures are not in a bid to achieve political mileage.
