There has been a change in personnel within the camp of Vijay’s Jilla. The project’s first choice cinematographer Natraj has been replaced due to a clash in dates with his other project which, interestingly, is the Hindi version of Thuppakki, tentatively titled Pistol.

Sources say that Pistol, helmed by A.R.Murugadoss, is witnessing some unforeseen delays in schedule which in turn has hampered the commitments of Natraj, who will be unable to make it in time for Jilla’s first schedule. Acting swiftly, the unit has found an able replacement in R. Ganesh who takes over as the new cameraman of the film.The team has ensured that the matter has been attended to in the most professional and amicable manner with no issues for anyone concerned.

Natraj or Natty as he's known in the industry is famous for his work predominantly in Bollywood, extending his services to films like Love Aaj Kal and most recently Dhanush's Raanjhanaa. He had teamed up with Vijay earlier in Youth.

R. Ganesh has been part of Rajiv Menon and Ravi K Chandran's team and was the cameraman for Suriya's Aadhavan and earlier for Enakku 20 Unakku 18.
