Dhanush-Vetri Maaran's next lead lady

As reported earlier, Dhanush and Vetri Maaran will unite yet again for their third project together. Tentatively titled Vengaisamy, the film as planned will go on floors in December. Vetri Maaran and team have invested a lot of time in pre-production as the script demands a lot of research work. 

To be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Meeka Entertainment, the film will have Manisha Yadav, who shot to fame with Vazhakku Enn 18/9, as the female lead. The film will apparently have a strong tiger connect and will be extensively shot in dense forest regions.

Vengai Samy will have Vetri Maaran’s usual squad, consisting of composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Velraj and editor Kishore.

Meanwhile Dhanush will be shuttling between KV Anand’s Anegan and Velraj’s Velai Illa Pattadhari.
