The first track in the album starts with a funky guitar rhythm and interesting vocals by Sunidhi and Mohit.  The catchiness of the song is instant and the guitars play a beautiful role here.  Sunidhi’s aggressive voice wonderfully compliments the laid back voice of Mohit Chauhan.  The timely usage of Harmonica in the song gives it a vintage feel. The song will sure make an impact on the Bollywood charts! Lyrics by Jaideep Sahni deserve a mention for the simple usage of words to describe a peculiar love story.

A fresh sounding track with Jigar Saraiya and Priya Saraiya on the vocals. The song is well balanced with a fast paced nature along with soothing tune. The usage of Rajasthani folk instruments in the midst of techno percussions is another highlight of the song.

The track sung by Divya Kumar arrives next with Rajasthani instruments such as Saarangi and lovely local rhythm section.  The song is a convincing fusion of Rajasthani folk with Modern Rock in the form of orchestration. Vocals sound very much like Kailash Kher style but the uniqueness is retained. The use of Hindustani Harmonium in the second interlude is another asset.

The title track Shuddh Desi Romance sung by, the now veteran singer, Benny Dayal comes up next with foot tapping rhythm and Hindustani styled orchestration.  Benny Dayal sounds very different from his usual voice culture and gives his beyond best to the track. The song is highly energetic and sets the beautiful mood for the album. The female vocals by Shalmali Kholgade marks another new singing talent to look out for in Bollywood! The convincing blend of Rajasthani folk with new age jazz is the highlight for the track.

A piano based instrumental track which has a techno look in the beginning. It makes a steady yet thoughtful impact on the listener with good usage of string section, flute and harmonium as it progresses.

A one of its kind instrumental which shows the flavor of Jaipur the Pink City in a powerful blend of instruments in the midst of Modern Jazz percussions. It gives a total new perception towards the Capital of Rajasthan through music!

A power packed instrumental track which is highly racy but retains its melodic element.  The tune sounds like Chanchal Mann Ati Random track but the instrumental is equally pleasing to hear.

A techno styled instrumental track for the song Gulabi with instant catchy nature. Pleasant use of strings and bass guitar are highlights for this track.

A folk styled techno track with foot tapping rhythm and a greatly composed orchestra. The occasional arrival of flute makes it a beautiful indigenous track with techno look!
