Ang Laga De
Singers: Aditi Paul, Shail Hada
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A beautiful lilting melody with laid back rhythm takes the listener to a new world of Ram-Leela. Aditi Paul’s magical voice makes sure the song is carried with the needed flavor and Shail Hada voice complements her wonderfully. The song has an aura of its own!

Dhoop
Singers: Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

Another lovely track arrives next which has varying shades from love to impending danger – this time from veteran singer Shreya Ghoshal.  The interludes take the listener to a colorful world and grandeur of Hindustani Classical Music.

Ishquayun Dishquayun
Singers: Aditya Narayan
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A catchy track with a brilliant blend of many indigenous instruments and Aditya Narayan’s energetic voice gives it the right kick! The way Electric Guitar merges with the local drums, harmonium and Saarangi is another amazing aspect of the track.

Laal Ishq
Singers: Arijith Singh
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

This mellifluous track oozes out the grandeur of North Indian culture and the catchy rhythm along with Arijith Singh’s powerful voice acts like a magic spell on the ears. Amazing interludes with right orchestration takes the tune to great heights! This track is sure to win over all classes of audience.

Lahu Munh Lag Gaya
Singers: Shail Hadal
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A track with a striking indigenous flavor showcases a Rajasthani village in music with spelndid orchestration and amazing vocals. The appearance of local violin playing with beautiful rhythm takes the listener to a new dimension of Rajasthan!

Mor Bani Tangat Kare
Singers: Aditi Paul, Osman Mir
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A garbha styled song which also does well to suit the modern listener’s sensibilities with its imaginative orchestration and excellent vocal performance by Osman Mir and Aditi Paul.  The song is sure to make it big this Navratri season!

Nagada Song Dol
Singers: Osman Mir, Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

Another garbha styled song with increased pace and vigor and brilliant voices of Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir. The brilliant usage of local instruments and amazing energy of the backing chorus is another asset of the tune!

Poore Chand
Singers: Shail Hada
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A sad solo with great vocals from Shail Hada having the traces of Tadap Tadap of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s earlier film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, the novelty comes in the orchestration and the way the song is presented and the powerful singing makes it a beautiful listen.

Ram Chahe Leela
Singers: Bhoomi Trivedi
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

A song speaking about a Raam-Leela event with heavy paced orchestration and amazing vocals from Indian Idol fame- Bhoomi Trivedi.  While the vocals go with traditional style, the backing orchestration goes with Funk Rock which is what makes it instantly likeable! Composed in a beautiful Hindustani Raag- Sindhu Bhairavi- this song is like a new representation of the Raag as well as the event of Raam-Leela traditionally happening during Dussehra festival.

Tattad Tattad
Singers: Aditya Narayan
Lyrics: Siddarth-Garima

Another rock styled track describing the Ram Leela event with increased vigor and great energy. The song comes across more like a celebration with the Aditya Narayan’s open singing. The skilled usage of instruments in the right flavor makes it a complete package.

Verdict: Ram Leela is something more than a musical album as it’s a celebration of Indian tradition through music and a roller coaster ride with varying emotions.
