TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

This is the season of television actors slowly graduating to big screen. Following Irfan in Sundattam (though Irfan debuted last year), it's Mirchi Senthil's turn to make his debut in big screen. If you are TV buff, you are familiar with Senthil as he is the face of Saravanan Meenakshi drama on Vijay TV.

Directed by R Balaji, Kan Pesum Varthaigal is a light-hearted romantic comedy with Senthil and Iniya in the lead. Balaji is the erstwhile assistant of Shankar who debuts with this film. Kan Pesum Varthaigal is shot in Tamil Nadu as well as Singapore where the story is said to take place partly.

A South-East Asian NRI story of types, Kan Pesum Varthaigal follows Senthil who arrives in Singapore in search of a job. Instead he falls for Iniya in the country and is forced to choose between his love and ambition. Kan Pesum Varthaigal  is releasing all over this weekend. If the movie is light-hearted and leaves not too many unconvincing loopholes, it might stand a chance.
