It was a Vikram vs Vijay show on Deepavali day on November 1, 2005. Though the expectations were high, it was Vijay's show all the way. With cracker-like dialogues and scorching screenplay this was the blockbuster that people were expecting. Directed by Perarasu, Sivakasi also had Asin as the heroine.
