It was not a Vijaykanth movie. There was no introductions song, no punch dialogues..in fact there were no dialogues for Vijaykanth for the first 15 minutes. But this was a silent 10,000-wala. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Ramana screamed success right from the word go. A movie about corruption, Ramana, released on November 4, 2002 was victorious among a host of other movies.
