It is about as non-cinematic as
a movie could get. The movie presented
an issue that was perhaps alien
to Indian movie going audiences.
But, the way it was presented made
it seem like a very clear and present
danger to our own households. The
villain, John Shea, did not have
terrifyingly long dialogues or a
bow shaped moustache, yet he managed
to make the hair stand up on the
back of your neck. Prasanna on the
other hand personified the hapless
victim. There was absolutely no
shade of heroism or any sign of
retaliation, only horror and confusion. |
