of combinations in most parts of
the world. But, the biggest democratic
exercise in the world (the Indian
general elections) has a generous
influence from the tinsel town.
Especially down south where almost
all the big names have a ‘filmi’
connection. Up north, a smattering
of stars livened up the polls. They
include ‘Munna Bhai’
Sanjay Dutt, Jaya Pradha, Shatrughan
Sinha and a few others. As Tamil
Nadu goes to polls today, let’s
take a look at how big a part Kollywood
