At the time of Vaanam’s release, it was suggested that Bharath was miffed because he had been left out of the promos though his role was as important as STR’s. Friends of STR criticized Bharath for being a bad sport. Later, Bharath clarified and said that he did not have any issues with STR but he had felt aggrieved with the producers for giving him a short shrift.
