Ravi K. Chandran did a lot of Malayalam movies before his introduction to Tamil Cinema in Honest Raj. He first shot to limelight when he won the Filmfare award for his fantastic work in the Hindi Movie Virasat. He has never looked back since and has been in demand in Hindi as well as Tamil. His visual treats in Minsara Kanavu, Kandukondain Kandukondain, Kannathil Muthamitaal and Boys have earned him awards and recognition. He has also done a lot of Hindi movies which include Dil Chahta Hai, Black, Paheli, Ghajini and also the upcoming movie Guzaarish. He is also the cinematographer for Suriya starrer 7aam Arivu.
