Who said that the men behind the lens are
not good looking? Look at Rajiv Menon and
you can say he is charming as a hero. The
most versatile among today's cinematographers,
Rajiv Menon has done loads of documentaries
and advertisements in addition to directing
movies. Mani Ratnam offered him Aravind Swamy's
role in Roja which he refused. He then shot
to National fame for his work in Mani Ratnam's
Bombay and the more recent Guru. Minsara Kanavu
and Kandukondain Kandukondain, in his direction,
have not only been popular hits but have also
earned National awards to AR Rahman, Chitra,
Prabhu Deva and Shankar Mahadevan.
