This
character appears only at
the end of the movie. The
character is not very easy
to recall from the name alone,
it is better remembered more
for the constant hype given
by Vyapuri throughout the
movie. He keeps speaking in
broken and ridiculous Hindi,
making pretty high flying
references about his ‘gang
leader’ who is in Bombay.
The dialogue ‘Ek maar
do tukda’ was repeated
every five minutes. While
the hype created by Vyapuri
was funny, the audience could
see right through it. We knew
that it was ‘vetti pechchu’.
But when Omakuchi Narasimman
finally makes his appearance
as the don ‘Dawood’,
it exceeded even our imagination
of what the character would
be like. The one scene that
culminated the comedy track
that ran throughout the movie
was close to perfect. |
