Some of the key attendees of the function were legendary director Bharathiraja, K.S. Ravikumar, Venkat Prabhu, music director Karthik Raja and lyricist Na. Muthukumar.
The star of the evening though would most definitely have to be Bhavatharani, daughter of maestro Ilayaraja, who is the music director of the film. Venkat Prabhu, who is also part of her family, was very proud of Bhavatharani’s achievements till date. He reminded the audience that she had earlier scored the music for a highly acclaimed English film ‘Mitr, My Friend’ directed by Revathi.
