STR attends Varuvaan Thalaivan poster launch
The Varuvan Thalaivan team recently held a poster launch of their film, a unique thing in Tamil film industry. Telugu star Balaiah, who is making his Tamil debut with this film, attended the launch and made his utmost effort to speak in Tamil. The launch was graced by STR, Lakshmi Manchu, Mano Bala, Bobo Sashi, P Vasu and others.
Lakshmi Manchu, the producer of the film said, “I was born and brought up in Chennai. But never got a chance to work in a Tamil film. With Varuvan Thalaivan I’m aiming to make an impression in the Tamil film industry.”
Varuvan Thalaivan will be directed by Sekar Raja and will feature, Balaiah, Manoj Kumar, Suhasini Maniratnam, Lakshmi Manchu, Prabhu and R Pandiarajan. Rajashekar will crank the camera and Bobo Sashi will deliver the tunes for the film. This film will be made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
