The music of GNR Kumaravel’s Haridas released on Monday at the Satyam Cinemas, in the presence of director Balu Mahendra, Bala, Bhagyaraj and Vikram. This film stars Kishore and Sneha in the lead characters and master Prithviraj and Parotta Soori in supporting roles.
“This is my third film, yet I consider this as my first, as this is my first original script,” started off the captain of the ship, GNR Kumaravel. For a scene, the director made Prithviraj, who plays the son of Sneha and Kishore, perform in the rain for one whole day. But the boy never complained, says Kumaravel. “I couldn’t sleep that night. So, I called Prithvi’s mother and made a sincere apology,” recollected the director. He credited every single person who has worked in the film, for being a pillar in making the film possible.
Sneha, while talking, praised the work of all the actors and said that Randy and Kishore have done a better job than herself. “With a child in the set, I thought the shots would take more time than usual. But Prithvi is very professional and grasps things fast,” added the actress.
Cinematographer Rathnavelu has shot the entire film using Red One and with natural lights. This is touted to be a new attempt and a highlight of the film.
The film, produced by V Ramdoss, also deals with the hard life of a policeman and according to Parotta Soori, policemen will feel proud after watching the film.
