Dhilluku Dhuddu is a horror comedy film written and directed by Rambhala, with Santhanam and Anchal Singh in the lead roles. It also had Karunas, Anand Raj, Motta Rajendran and others as a part of its supporting cast.
The film was produced by Thenandal Studios Limited and distributed by Mishri Enterprises. It turned out to be a successful venture for the makers, with the film doing extremely well at the box office. Now, the film is being remade in Kannada under the title Gimmick.
Gimmick stars Golden Star Ganesh in the lead role, with Ronica Singh, Shobraj, Gurudatt, Ravishankar Gowda and others in supporting roles. It is directed by Naganna, and produced by Deepak Samidurai under the banner Samy Pictures, with music by Arjun Janya.
It must be noted that Ganesh was also the lead in the remake of 96, titled 99 that had Bhavana as the female lead. The film did quite well in Karnataka, despite mixed reactions from 96 fans. Well, after 96, it looks like it is the turn of Dhilluku Dhuddu to become successful in Karnataka. Stay tuned for more updates.
