IS GAUTHAM MENON OBSESSED WITH THIS FILM?

The first look poster of Pelli Choopulu's Tamil remake, Pon Ondru Kandein, was released yesterday (29th March). The film, being produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon and directed by Senthil Veeraasamy, stars Vishnu Vishal and Tamannaah in lead roles.
 

While looking at the crew members of the film, the technical team comprises mostly of the Kidaari team. S.R.Kathir, Darbuka Siva, and Praveen Antony, who worked as the cinematographer, music director and editor of the Sasikumar starrer, respectively. Not just this film, members of Kidaari are part of Gautham Menon's directorial ventures, Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Dhruva Natchathiram too.

Praveen Antony had cut the teaser of Vikram's Dhruva Natchathiram, and the young talent is also most likely to be the editor for the full feature of the same and ENPT. Vela Ramamoorthy, who acted as the antagonist in Kidaari, plays Dhanush's father in ENPT.
 

Is Gautham Menon heavily impressed by the work of these people in Kidaari? And is that why he has used many people from that team in all his upcoming projects? Looks like that!
