THE MANY 'MANKATHA' MOMENTS IN 'MASSS'

Suriya's Masss seems to share quite a lot of similarities with Ajith's Mankatha

The teaser of Venkat Prabhu's 'Sixer' Masss which was released at midnight 1 am on the 25th of April has already managed more than 7.1 lakh views. One of the few teasers with tremendous repeat value, viewers are just raving about this teaser every minute. Suriya fans are all gunned up about the release of the film now on the 15th May.

A noticeable aspect in the Masss teaser was the many 'Mankatha' moments in it. Traces, facets and elements of the Ajith blockbuster are hard to miss in this teaser. The Ajith and Suriya starrers seem to share quite a lot indeed !

- The wildly popular line "Now It's my fu**ing game"

- The lead man being a cop in the story (though it's still not confirmed in Masss)

- The grand stunt sequences with car drifts and bike wheelies.

- VJ Ramya playing a journalist for a fleeting moment or two

- The scene when money flies around the place as the lead hero is filled with glee

- A senior actor playing an equally important role (Arjun in Mankatha and Parthiban in Masss)

- An elderly antagonist (Jayaprakash in Mankatha and Samuthirakani in Masss)

- The trademark 'Hahaha' laugh

- And of course the Premgi factor, like in all Venkat Prabhu films
