PULI - A STAR-STUDDED PERIOD FANTASY WAR EPIC ?

We always knew that Puli would be a grand entertainer made at a reported budget in excess of 100 crores. The producers SKT Studios, director Chimbu Deven and the technical team have been slogging for the past 8 months or so on the production front, and continue to do so in the post production stage now, as the film gets ready for a release either in August or September.

 

The first look poster of the film was launched at midnight today (June 21) in the online space and the response from Vijay fans and movie buffs has been humongous. The first look poster is all over FB walls and Twitter timelines and the buzz has only gotten stronger now.

 

The first look features Vijay standing in a majestic pose attired regally like a monarch leading a big army of soldiers behind him. He looks the part as the youthful, intense and purposeful warrior who has to protect his land. The first look promises grand visuals, royal costumes, extensive VFX work, stunning locations and never-before-seen war action sequences. Hopefully Puli would be a star-studded period fantasy war epic. The logo design also brings out that fantasy / war / period mood.
