“THEME VERITHANAM FOR THALA 56”

Thala 56 directed by Siva is fast getting canned in Chennai. The film has Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon as leads along with baddie Kabir Singh.

Ashwin who shared screen space with Ajith in Mankatha happened to visit the sets of Thala 56 and this is what he had to say about his visit and Ajith in his social media page.

“I normally don't post too many updates about my interaction with Ajith sir's set but thought I'd post this. Yesterday I dropped into the sets of Thala 56. First, I met Silva Master’s stunt fighters who I had not met since Mankatha. They congratulated me on my work. Kabir is going to be a great antagonist in the film, and was giving his 100%. Siva sir has got a nice treat in the making. Lots of special things in store for fans and the audience! (theme Verithanam!) Lastly, when Ajith sir introduced me to Kabir Singh he said “This is Ashwin, he acted with me in Mankatha, he's a good actor”. I thought that was a very sweet gesture on his part coming from a senior actor. It stuck with me till today so thought I'd share. So all in all, good energies from Thala 56!”
