Will Mani Ratnam and Dhanush team up?

A legend who has created many masterpieces in a career span of more than three decades in the film industry, Mani Ratnam's next film is always awaited. After the terrific feedback of OK Kanmani, now Mani's next film is on the watch.

OK Kanmani has Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen as leads and with AR Rahman's music composition the film has attracted the youth of our society.

Having said that, Dhanush also caters to all sections and is known to have the tag of boy-next-door. It was already reported that, there are talks about Mani joining hands with Dhanush for Mani's next project in Hindi.

But, Dhanush currently has other projects lined up to complete. It is to be noted that films such as Maari, VIP 2 and an untitled project with Prabu Solomon are in the pipeline for Dhanush. It is also said that he is in talks with Anand L Rai for his next film in Hindi. 

However, Mani leaves atleast two to three years of time after his film releases. Now all the eyes are on Mani's next! Will the two kick-start this project soon? Amidst many films on Dhanush's table, will he sign one with Mani who is the dream director for many?
